Using our recommendations

Detox Home helps you understand product materials and ingredients before you buy.  Our recommendations reflect the information available when we review a product.  Please use them alongside the current label, manufacturer’s directions, and any advice relevant to your own health.

Health information

The site provides general information, not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.  A product that suits one person may irritate another or be unsuitable for a particular condition.  For questions about allergies, sensitivities, or a child’s health, consult a qualified health professional who knows the circumstances.

What a recommendation means

A listed product met our selection criteria based on its disclosed materials, ingredients, and supporting documentation.  We do not conduct laboratory tests or independently inspect manufacturing.  Our review cannot establish that a product is free of every contaminant, suitable for every use, or right for every person.  The How we vet products page explains our approach.

Products change

Formulas, materials, suppliers, and product designs can change.  Check the current model, ingredient list, and instructions before buying or using an item.  If the details differ from our listing, let us know so we can review it.

Buying and using a product

Purchases take place on the retailer’s website.  The manufacturer and seller are responsible for production, product quality, and fulfillment.  Follow the manufacturer’s instructions, and contact the seller or manufacturer about defects, recalls, returns, or delivery.

No warranties; limitation of liability

This site and everything on it is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.  Your use of this site and any product decisions you make are at your own risk.  To the fullest extent permitted by law, Detox Home and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this site, reliance on its content, or use of any product mentioned here.

Affiliate relationships

We may earn a commission when you buy through an Amazon link.  We also link to other retailers and manufacturers.  Our affiliate disclosure explains how these links support the site.

Prices and availability

Displayed prices and ratings are recorded figures and may have changed.  Check the retailer for the current price, seller, stock, shipping charges, and options.  A starting price or price range may depend on the size, finish, or configuration you select.
