We favor wood and metal instead of MDF and particleboard.  Plastic storage bins or structural parts can be included, but are clearly identified alongside cushions and finishes.  That furniture exception does not extend to toys or mouth-contact parts.  Secure anchoring and age-appropriate use remain essential.
