Pillowcases & shams

Natural-fiber pillowcases, throw-pillow covers and shams, with the fabric clearly identified.

The fabric against your face deserves as much attention as the pillow inside it.  We look for cotton, linen and genuine silk, avoiding polyester microfiber and unnecessary stain- or wrinkle-resistant treatments.  Satin describes a weave, not a fiber: a smooth finish alone does not make a pillowcase silk.  Decorative covers and shams are labeled separately from everyday sleeping pillowcases.
