Cotton bags, waxed-cloth wraps and silicone storage that replace disposable plastic food bags and film.

A reusable bag can still put plastic directly against food.  We look at linings, coatings and closures, favoring natural fabrics, specified wax blends and silicone.  Each serves a different purpose: a produce bag, a waxed wrap and a freezer bag should not come with the same heat or washing instructions.
